CHIEF THREATENS SERIOUS ACTION AGAINST ENCROACHERS ON QUARRY SITE

As part of precautionary measures to prevent untimely disaster,Abusuapanin,Chief  and Royal family of Bouho Krobo in the Afigya Kwabre South District of the Ashanti region are warning landlords and landladies built close to the quarry site to quickly relocate effective today.

Akora Poku,the head of Buoho Krobo Abusuapanin made this known to the after they discovered that all the buffer zones have been encroached by lawliness.

“According to Abusuapanin Akora Poku, some of them build in the night and especially when the Assembly is not in session. By the time you come a building that is at the foundation level has reached lentil and when it reaches such a height it becomes difficult to pull them down.”

“Akora Poku posited that, there should be a buffer of 500 meters, and I can tell you that some are even below a distance of 20 meters, and this is very dangerous.

He called on government, Regional Minister and the District Assembly to immediate intervene to avoid any future accurances..
