2024 Elections : NPP Support in Ashanti Region Keeps growing, Why “I Wont Vote Chorus is Fading among Resident.

The Ashanti Region’s shift in sentiment towards the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is a significant development in the 2024 political season.

Initially, many residents echoed a chorus of “I will not vote,” causing concern for the NPP leadership.

However, recent interviews by OTEC News Reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng reveal a remarkable turnaround, with former skeptics in areas like Kumasi Metropolis, Kwadaso Municipality, Oforikrom, and Asokwa Municipalities now pledging their Renewed support to the NPP.

The driving force behind this change of heart is the NPP’s impressive infrastructural developments.

In education, residents point to enhanced facilities and increased accessibility, making quality education more attainable for all.

Healthcare has also seen significant improvements, with better services and infrastructure.

The energy sector has been transformed through sustainable initiatives and increased access, ensuring more reliable power supply.

Security has been bolstered with enhanced law enforcement measures, providing a safer environment for residents.

Lastly, the agricultural sector has received substantial support, empowering farmers and fostering growth.

These advancements have led residents to compare the NPP’s achievements favorably to those of the previous NDC government, concluding that the NPP is far ahead.

This newfound enthusiasm has inspired residents to lead house-to-house campaigns, ensuring the party’s victory.

While some residents caution against complacency, they assure the NPP of their votes and emphasize continued engagement.

As the 2024 polls approach, the NPP would do well to heed this message and build on their momentum.

The Ashanti Region’s shift in sentiment could be a crucial factor in the party’s success. With the regional chairman, Antwi Boasiako, heading the campaign team, the NPP is targeting 90% votes in the region

By maintaining their focus and leveraging their achievements, the NPP can capitalize on this newfound support and secure a strong victory.
