    2024 NDC Parliamentary Candidate, Grace Asamoah, Sweeps 100 Percent Confirmation Votes To Become Atwima Kwanwoma DCE

    The 2024 Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency and former Atwima Nwabiagya south district chief auditor,Mrs Grace Asamoah Agyemang, has officially been confirmed as the new Chief Executive of Atwima Kwanwoma District, after securing an impressive 100 percent endorsement at a confirmation election held for 47 Assembly members and government appointees at Twedie on Friday, 16th May 2025.

    Giving her initial remarks after the declaration of results, she expressed her utmost gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for rewarding her many years of selfless service to the party with such a great honour. Additionally, she appealed to all chiefs, politicians, and opinion leaders for their support and prayers, stressing that unity is essential for development. She revealed that prior to her being nominated for the position, she had the opportunity of an extensive engagement with all assembly members on what challenges their communities face.

    The former government appointee under the John Mahama first administration Madam Grace Agyemang,noted that in the meantime, she would, in liaison with the Member of Parliament, Honourable Kofi Amankwaa-Manu, ensure that all basic schools in the district have decent toilet facilities.

    At the end of the proceedings,Mrs Elizabeth Ohene,the Atwima Kwanwoma district director of Electoral commission officially announced President nominee,Mrs Grace Asamoah Agyemang as the confirmed District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma district
