MTN Ghana Powers Electrifying AshantiFest 2026 Concert in Kumasi

Residents of Kumasi were treated to an unforgettable night of music and cultural celebration on Saturday, April 11, 2026, as MTN Ghana hosted the AshantiFest Music Concert at Heroes Park.

The event, which drew thousands of music lovers, transformed the venue into a vibrant hub of sound, lights, and entertainment. From the opening moments, the concert delivered high-energy performances that kept patrons engaged throughout the night.

The concert featured a lineup of notable Ghanaian acts, including Kweku Darlington and Oseikrom Sikani, who set the tone with energetic performances rooted in local sounds. Music duo DopeNation further elevated the atmosphere, turning the crowd into a unified chorus of excitement.

On the turntables, DJ Slim maintained a seamless flow of music, ensuring continuous engagement from start to finish.

Beyond the headline acts, the platform also spotlighted emerging talents such as Cyril Fuego, Seven Kizs, O’Kenneth, and Queen Jem, highlighting the festival’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of performers.

AshantiFest, which continues to grow in prominence, is increasingly recognized not only as an entertainment event but also as a driver of youth empowerment and economic activity in the region. Organizers say the initiative aims to promote local culture while creating opportunities within the creative industry.

Saturday’s concert reinforced MTN Ghana’s role in supporting arts and culture, with many attendees describing the event as both a celebration of music and a statement of Kumasi’s rising influence in Ghana’s entertainment landscape.

As the event concluded, the impact of the night lingered, underscoring the growing significance of AshantiFest as a major fixture on Ghana’s cultural calendar.
