The House of Power Ministry has donated a 4×4 pickup vehicle to the Ashanti South Regional Police Command to strengthen its operations and enhance crime prevention across the region.

Presenting the vehicle on behalf of the Founder and General Overseer, Rev. Francis Kwarteng, the Head of Pastors, Rev. Charles Nimako, said the donation reflected the ministry’s commitment to supporting peace and security as a shared responsibility.
He expressed hope that the vehicle would improve police mobility, increase visibility and enable personnel to respond promptly to emergencies and crime-related incidents.
Receiving the vehicle, the Ashanti South Regional Police Commander, DCOP Joseph Nyaaba Hammond, thanked the ministry for the gesture, describing logistics as a major challenge confronting the command.

He said the vehicle would strengthen patrols, particularly in crime-prone communities, and support the command’s “Operation Zero Crime” initiative.
DCOP Hammond appealed to other religious bodies, institutions, corporate organisations and individuals to emulate the gesture by providing vehicles and other essential logistics to support effective policing.
He also called for stronger police-community collaboration, stressing that “policing is a shared responsibility” and urging the public to provide timely and credible information to help fight crime.
The donation is expected to improve police visibility, mobility and emergency response while supporting efforts to protect lives and property in the Ashanti South Region.
