2.3 Million Employed in Public Sector Since 2017-NAPO

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Vice Presidential Candidate for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has revealed that the government has employed 2.3 million individuals in the public sector since 2017.

This remarkable achievement was made possible after the previous NDC government’s freeze on public sector employment due to poor management .

Speaking at a campaign rally in Offinso, Ashanti Region, Dr. Prempeh highlighted the NPP administration’s prudent measures to revitalize the economy. He emphasized the government’s focus on implementing policies that benefit all Ghanaians.

“The NPP government is committed to good governance and economic growth,” Dr. Prempeh stated. “Our policies have led to an astronomical increase in cocoa bean prices, now selling at GHC 3000.

This demonstrates our ability to manage the economy effectively.”

Dr. Prempeh’s statements underscore the NPP’s efforts to address unemployment and stimulate economic development
