NPP Warns Police Against Backroom Deals with President Mahama Administration

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has cautioned the Ghana police Service against engaging in any secretive agreements with the John Mahama administration. This warning comes amidst investigations into the recent violence that resulted in the loss of lives of some National Democratic Congress (NDC) members.

According to Richard Ahingba, NPP’s National Communications Director, the party is advocating for a transparent and impartial investigation. Ahingba emphasized that the NPP seeks justice for the victims and their families, urging the police to avoid any actions that may compromise the investigation.

The NPP has expressed concerns that the President Mahama administration may attempt to shield or clear individuals culpable in the incident, and has called for a thorough and unbiased probe.
