Kwadaso Circuit court Remanded Kwanwoma Akyeremade Assembly Member For Two Weeks
Seth Akwasi Agyapong, an assembly member for Kwanwoma Akyeremade,in the Atwima -Kwanwoma District in the Ashanti Region has been remanded by the Kwadaso circuit court for two weeks for offensive conduct, damage, and threatening to kill.
According to reports, on January 28, 2025, Agyapong allegedly led a group to a construction site owned by Elder Doctor Bismarck Amoah, destroying building materials worth hundreds of Ghana cedis.
Agyapong is also accused of threatening to kill his predecessor, Hon Justice Baffour Awuah, a former assembly member and renowned senior journalist.
He’s expected to face additional charges, including unlawful entry and damage to property, when he reappears in court on February 17. If he fails to accept guilt without a strong justification, he may be remanded again.
