    Ashanti regional minister, leads massive cleanup Exercise in Kumasi

    Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, led a massive clean-up exercise in the region on April 12, 2025, alongside security services and NDC sympathizers. The initiative aimed to keep the city clean and beautify key areas, including:
    Manhyia Palace: A significant cultural and historical site in Kumasi
    Kejetia: A major commercial hub in the city
    Adum: A prominent suburb in Kumasi

    As a medical professional and youth leader, Dr. Amoakohene has emphasized the importance of development and community engagement in his role as Ashanti Regional Minister. This clean-up exercise reflects his commitment to improving the region’s infrastructure and quality of life for its residents.

    This exercise involved various communities, including Tafo, Bantama, Adum, and Alabar, with support from Zoomlion and participation from residents, government officials, and traditional leaders.

    However, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, did lead a clean-up exercise in Kumasi as part of government effort of keeping the city clean at all time. The event aimed to promote cleanliness and sanitation, started from central business area widely known as Kejetia to Manhyia Palace,Alabar and ended in Adum around 10:00am.
