Ahafo Ano South West MP Withdraws Support for Bawumia Over Abronye’s Insults, NPP Indiscipline

The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, has announced that he will no longer support Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

According to the MP, his decision is driven by what he describes as disrespectful conduct and persistent indiscipline within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), particularly recent insults from Bono Regional Chairman, Abronye DC.

Hon. Dapaah condemned the trend of verbal attacks among party ranks, stating that such behavior undermines unity and healthy political engagement. He emphasized that until the party reins in indiscipline, he cannot continue to back Dr. Bawumia’s political ambitions.

“I’ve decided not to support Dr. Bawumia anymore because of Abronye’s insults and the growing indiscipline within the NPP,” he stated.

The MP’s declaration adds to growing concerns raised by some party members over internal tensions and misconduct ahead of crucial political activities.P
