As the year 2025 nears its end, the Gyaasehene of Denyasemanhene, under the Denyase Paramount Area, Nana Ewi Asamoah II, has passionately urged the youth to distance themselves from social vices and commit their energy to hard work, skill acquisition, and productive employment.

He made the call during the Akwasidae celebration and his official outdooring to the people of Denyaseman in the Amansie enclave, following his swearing-in as Gyasemanhene Gyasehene.

Nana Ewi Asamoah II warned that the growing trend of irresponsible behaviour among the youth continues to fuel consequences such as imprisonment, untimely death, teenage pregnancy, and shattered opportunities issues he described as avoidable setbacks.

According to him, obedience, discipline, and respect remain the bedrock of personal advancement and community progress.

“The youth are tomorrow’s leaders. If they respect themselves and others, they will go far in life,” he emphasized.

The Gyaasehene appealed to residents to foster unity and support his leadership, stressing that development can only be achieved through collective effort rather than through the actions of a single individual.

He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to enhancing healthcare, education, security, and general well-being in Behenase and surrounding areas.

Nana Ewi Asamoah II further highlighted youth empowerment as a central priority of his stewardship. He observed that Ghana’s unemployment challenge can only be addressed if the youth are equipped with relevant skills and employment avenues.

“Youth empowerment is key to tackling the national canker of unemployment. We must help our young people acquire skills and jobs so they can build promising futures,” he added.

He also pledged to work closely with stakeholders and development partners to promote sustainable initiatives that uplift the living standards of the people.
