The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nwabiagya South has been adjudged Best MCE of the Year, an honour he says reflects the collective effort, dedication, and support of stakeholders across the municipality.

Speaking after receiving the recognition, the MCE described the award as a testament to teamwork, inclusive leadership, and the strong partnership between the Municipal Assembly and the people it serves. He emphasised that the achievement was not a personal triumph but the result of sustained collaboration with traditional authorities, Assembly Members, party executives, municipal staff, and residents.

He extended profound appreciation to chiefs and opinion leaders for their guidance and wisdom, Assembly Members for their commitment to grassroots development, and party executives for their continuous encouragement and mobilisation. The MCE also commended the staff of the Municipal Assembly for their professionalism and dedication, noting that their hard work has been instrumental in the effective implementation of government policies and development programmes.

According to him, several development initiatives undertaken within the municipality, particularly in infrastructure, social services, and local governance, have contributed to the recognition, adding that these successes were made possible through unity and shared responsibility.

Looking ahead to 2026, the MCE reaffirmed his commitment to intensify efforts towards accelerating development, strengthening social cohesion, and improving the socio-economic well-being of residents. He assured the people of Nwabiagya South of renewed energy, transparency, and accountability in the discharge of his duties.

He called on all stakeholders to sustain the spirit of cooperation and unity that has driven progress so far, stressing that collective action remains the key to achieving inclusive and sustainable development.

The MCE concluded by invoking God’s blessings on the people of Nwabiagya South and pledged to continue working tirelessly to advance the growth and development of the municipality.
