    A/R:Duaponko residents get first CHPS compound in decades.

    The National Democratic Congress NDC Parliamentary candidate in the Afigya Kwabre North Constituency of the Ashanti Region Emmanuel Jackson Agumah has commissioned its first Community-Based Health Planning and Service (CHPS) compound at Duaponko.

    The facility will serve close to 1,000 residents of Duaponko, Konti, and Kodiabe all in the Afigya Kwabre North District.

    The facility has a basic primary care, patient education and disease prevention unit.
    It also has a maternity ward and an outpatient department.

    Speaking to Tv3 News in an interview,the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Afigya Kwabre North Constituency, Emmanuel Agumah, said the purpose of the CHPS compound is to help fight maternal deaths and also encourage antenatal access.

    He added that it will also bring health care closer to the community.

    Emmanuel Agumah assures them that he will prioritize their needs and work to bring development to the constituency.

    He emphasized that development is his top priority, and he is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of his constituents.
