Appreciate,value the vital role of Cocoa farmers-hon Nicholas Amankwah:
Cocoa farmers play a crucial role in Ghana’s economy and agricultural sector,the member of Parliament for Amenfi East constituency in the western region,hon Nicholas Amankwah has said,time is due to value and appreciate the vital role of our galant farmers especially,the Cocoa farmers in the country.They contribute significantly to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and provide livelihoods for many families.
He made this known during nationwide cocoa farmers rally held at Methodist church in Bawdie which was honored by Mr Felix Kwame Quinoo,Western regional manager of CHED(Ghana Cocobod).
Hon Nicholas emphasized the importance and benefits of recognizing and valuing the hard work and dedication of these farmer.
Hon Nicholas used the opportunity to shared government plans to ensure fair cocoa prices based on global market trends and to provide essential farming supplies to make farming more lucrative and productive.
