Ashanti Region Completes MMDCE Appointments: Final Two Sworn In

In a significant milestone for the Ashanti Region, the final two Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) have officially been sworn into office. Hon. Yakubu Issifu takes the helm at Mampong, while Hon. Ishaaq Ibrahim assumes leadership in Atwima Mponua.

At the ceremony held this evening, the Regional Minister urged the newly inducted MMDCEs to approach their duties with urgency and dedication, noting their relatively late start. He emphasized the need for them to quickly align with the region’s ongoing development agenda.

Expressing gratitude to H.E. President John Dramani Mahama for the nominations, the Minister stated, “With this swearing-in, we now have the full complement of 43 MMDCEs across the Ashanti Region. We are ready to deliver with unity, purpose, and focus. Let us move forward together.”

The completion of appointments marks a new chapter for the Ashanti Region as it gears up to drive accelerated growth and development under a fully constituted team.
