Atwima Kwanwoma DCE Distributes Christmas Packages to All 240 NDC Branches

As part of efforts to share the joy of the Christmas season and strengthen grassroots political structures, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma, Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah, has distributed Christmas packages to all 240 branches of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency.

The donation exercise, which brought together party executives from across the district, saw the distribution of bags of rice, cooking oil, and other essential household items, aimed at supporting beneficiaries and easing the financial burden often associated with the festive season.

Speaking in an interview with www.dailywatchgh.com on the sidelines of the event, Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah said the initiative was a deliberate effort to recognise and appreciate the sacrifices and dedication of party executives at the grassroots level, who continue to play a critical role in mobilising support for the party.

According to her, building a strong, united, and motivated party base remains key to sustaining political growth and development in the district. She noted that the gesture also forms part of her broader vision to make the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) more attractive and appealing, particularly to encourage greater participation among residents in the constituency.

“Our branch executives are the backbone of the party. Supporting them during this festive season is a way of appreciating their hard work and motivating them to continue serving the party and the people with dedication,” she stated.

The DCE further urged party members and residents of the district to use the Christmas season to promote peace, unity, and love, stressing that these values are essential for fostering harmony and accelerating development in Atwima Kwanwoma.

She emphasised that a peaceful and united constituency provides the right environment for development initiatives to thrive, adding that collective responsibility and cooperation among residents remain crucial to the district’s progress.
Beneficiaries of the donation expressed heartfelt gratitude to the DCE for the timely support, describing the gesture as thoughtful and morale-boosting.

Many pledged their continued commitment to the ideals of the party and to working tirelessly at the grassroots to promote unity and development within the constituency.

The Christmas donation exercise forms part of ongoing efforts by the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly to strengthen community relations, deepen party cohesion, and promote inclusive leadership at the local level.
