    Atwima Nwabiagya North: President Nominee Mba Zakaria Alenbelle confirmed New DCE with 96% Endorsement:

    The Assembly members at Atwima Nwabiagya North district have confirmed President nominee Mba Zakaria Alenbelle as the new District Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya North in the Ashanti region.

    Atwima Kwanwoma North: President Nominee Mba Zakaria Confirmed with 96 Percent Votes to become DCE

    Mr Mba Zakaria, the 2025 President nominee for the Atwima Nwabiagya North has been confirmed as the new District Chief Executive (DCE) of with 96% of the total votes cast.

    The confirmation election, held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Barekese, saw an impressive 96 percent endorsement from 24 out of 25 assembly members and government appointees.

    In his initial remarks after the declaration of results, Honorable Zakaria expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for entrusting him with this significant responsibility.

    He acknowledged the trust placed in him and pledged to work tirelessly for the development of the district.

    Honorable Zakaria appealed to all chiefs, politicians, and other opinion leaders to support and pray for his administration, emphasizing that unity is crucial for development.

    He highlighted his prior engagement with assembly members, where he discussed the challenges facing their communities and pledged to address them.

    According to him,one of his key initiatives,is Collaboration with all members especially the opposition New Patriotic Party NPP members and the Member of Parliament, Honorable Frank Yeboah, is to ensure that all ongoing basic projects in the district are completed under the current administration.

    On his part,Hon Frank Yeboah,the member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency also pledge his commitment to support the DCE elect.He said, together they will drive the district to a perfect destination.

    This initiative aims to improve and promote development in the district.

    With his appreciable confirmation, Honorable Mba Zakaria,the 2024 parliamentary candidate of the ruling NDC in Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency is poised to lead the Atwima Nwabiagya North District towards a brighter future, driven by his commitment to unity, development, and the welfare of its citizens.
    In attendance were Nananoom(traditional leaders), Assembly members, friends and supporters.

    Some excited assembly members like hon Osei Bright , assembly member for Wrapong electoral area and other Assembly members, expressed their expectations to the DCE elect, Honourable Mba Zakaria

    Meanwhile the event was also used to elect new presiding member,hon Simon Karikari Bonsu to steer the affairs of the assembly.
