Dr Amagashie Cautions Media Against Premature Declaration Of Results

“The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Of Amagashie Herbal Clinic which is located around all the regions in the country, Dr. Amagashie, is urging the media to exercise caution when reporting on the 2024 presidential and parliamentary election results, warning against premature declarations that could spread misinformation and undermine the democratic process.

This warning comes at a critical time, as the nation awaits the outcome of this pivotal election.

Dr. Amagashie’s warning serves as a reminder that the media has a responsibility to ensure the information they disseminate is accurate and trustworthy. Prematurely declaring a winner can have serious consequences, including undermining public trust in the media and the democratic process, spreading misinformation that can be difficult to correct, and influencing voter behavior.

In the age of instant news and social media, the potential for misinformation to spread quickly is higher than ever. Dr. Amagashie’s warning emphasizes the need for the media to prioritize accuracy and verification.

He again called on the EC Chairperson, Mrs Jean Mensah to avoid been political bias but announce accurate results as collated to avoid any future issues.

By exercising caution and prioritizing accuracy, the media can play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of the 2024 presidential election. Dr. Amageshie’s warning serves as a timely reminder of the importance of responsible reporting during this critical period.”
