Choose No Aged but a Vibrant figure From Ashanti Region as running-mate-VYC To Bawumia

Vibrant Youth Club, a newly formed group in the New Patriotic Party (NPP), led by Hon. Justice Baffour Awuah has appealed to the Vice President and the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party-NPP not to choose an aged but a vibrant and dynamic person from Ashanti Region as his running mate for the upcoming general elections slated for December 2024.

Hon. Justice Baffour, renowned Journalist and the managing editor of www.dailywatchgh.com, stated that the preferred figure should be a choice of royal house else….

He said, majority of the party members nationwide are expecting Dr. Alhaji Bawumia to choose an Ashanti figure from the World bank of the ruling NPP.

Addressing media practitioners in a press conference held in Kumasi on Wednesday, 19th June 2024, the managing editor of dailywatch and once a Council of State aspirant Ashanti region in 2021, said NPP this time needed an energetic and vibrant leaders to lead the party.

According to Hon.Baffour Awuah who works with Kumasi based Ezra Television and FM station as a reporter and an anchor stressed that, should his Excellency Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia truly wants to break the eight and emerge victorious in the upcoming, elections, dynamic, astute and energetic Ashanti man is the only option.

“Breaking the eight as a mantra for NPP cannot be materialized and may end up in opposition for sixteen years or more when Ashanti factor is not considered in chosing the running mate,” he reiterated.
