Consider Gender Balance Appoint female Nominee (Sekina) As DCE-Atwima Mponua NDC to Mahama:

Rita Akomea, Atwima Mponua Constituency Women’s Organizer of the NDC, has appealed to President John Mahama to consider gender balance and appoint a female nominee as District Chief Executive (DCE).

Speaking in an exclusive interview with this site,www.dailywatchgh.com,she specifically recommended Sekina, praising her dedication, commitment, loyalty, and strong communication skills. According to Rita Akomea, Sekina is the people’s choice and would be an effective leader for the district. This appeal is in line with President Mahama’s promise of gender balance during the 2024 general elections.Rita Akomeah, the NDC Atwima Mponua constituency women’s organizer also made a humble appeal to the Professor Naana Opoku Agyemang, the vice President of the republic to intervene and ensure that their cry is addressed.

Rita Akomea aims to debunk false allegations that the Atwima Mponua constituency is not peaceful and that violence will erupt if President John Mahama nominates a female representative. She emphasizes that these claims are baseless and seeks to reassure stakeholders that the constituency can accept and support a female leader. By recommending Sekina for the DCE position, Rita Akomea highlights the potential for positive leadership and community progress.
