Dr.Napo launches New Dance After Clocking 56th Birthday:
The vice Presidential candidate hopeful for the governing New Patriotic Party-NPP,His Eminence, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh,who doubles as Member of Parliament for Manhyia South Constituency has celebrated in a grandstyle a version of his 56th birthday with basic students of the Kumasi Metropolis.
It happened at the jubilee park on Friday, 14th June, 2024, characterised by entertainment sessions such as music and dance, bouncy castle games, sharing of snacks among others.
Dr. Napo turned 56 on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024.
Celebration with the students metamorphosed into a titillating event as Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, who doubles as Ghana’s Energy Minister touched the floor with his dancing shoes and boogied to the tune of the famous “ASEDA” song, composed and sung by King Baluta.
He also used the occasion to make a jumbo donation of learning materials and food items to the various basic schools.
Among the items were exercise books, note books, packs of assorted soft drinks, biscuits, etc.
Manhyia South Constituency executives of NPP, Nana Kwaku Duah-Chief of Kokoso, friends of Napo were all present at the occasion.
Speaking at the occasion, the Metro Director of Education Mr. David Oppong admonished the students to be encouraged by the impact and good life of Dr. Napo.
He further advised them to learn hard especially in numeracy and literacy, adding that following his (Dr. Napo) exemplary life will help them attain the likes of his status.
The Metro Director also called on parents to invest in the education of their children.
