    DVLA EMBARKS ON MASSIVE CLEAN UP EXERCISE IN KUMASI:

    As part of its cooperate social responsibility to mark it’s 25 years anniversary celebration,the Ashanti Regional office of the Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA) on Saturday ,25th day of May, organised a massive clean up exercise where staffs, management and other members came together to clean and beautify Acheamfour market and it environs in Kumasi, the Ashant Regional capital.

    Interview with this medium, www.dailywatchgh.com,Mr Amos Abakah, the Ashanti regional director of DVLA said it was a wonderful way to promote cleanliness, foster community spirit and contribute to a healthy environment.

    He added that one of their major wish was to ensure healthcare was brought to the doorsteps of individuals especially their able customers or clients.

    According to Mr. Abakah, one man cannot curb sanitation related issues, entreating the general public to see sanitation issues as a core responsibility that needs all hands.

    Touching on administrative Activities,he announced that,the office of Driver Vehicle and licensing authority has introduced new system to deal with those who doesn’t obey driving rules and regulations nationwide.

    On their part,Some residents and traders arround also showed appreciation to the DVLA for their involvement in the nationwide campaign against dirty or filthy environment.
