    Election 2024:President Akufo Addo entreats Ashanti regional house of Chiefs to support Bawumia

    President Akufo Addo has urged the Ashanti regional house of Chiefs to support the presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party Dr Mahamadu Bawumia to win December 7 elections.

    President Akufo-Addo during his engagement with the regional house of Chiefs in Manhyia palace was clear that former president Mahama can’t protect his achievements except the vice president Dr Mahamadu Bawumia.

    Nana Akufo visit to the house of Chiefs is part of his thank you tour in the Ashanti region.

    President Akufo-Addo underscored that his flagship programmes such as free SHS, Agenda 111 and other ongoing projects in the country will not be sustained should former president Mahama wins the election.

    Nana Akufo Addo explained that under his regime, Asanteman has seen progress in terms of developmental projects in all sectors and he want Dr Bawumia to succeed to give more to Ashanti region.

    The President for Ashanti regional house of Chiefs Dasebre Osei Bonsu II, Mamponghene on behalf of the Nananom expressed their gratefulness to president Akufo Addo for his performance.

    He called Nananom for continuation of Akufo Addo government and stated that Ashanti regional house will do the needful on December 7 to show appreciation to NPP government.
