Fear Grips Santasi Apire as Residents Stop Night Burial of Unknown Child

Panic has hit the Santasi Apire New Site community in the Kwadaso Constituency of the Ashanti Region after residents stopped the burial of a mysterious 7-year-old child brought in from Accra.

According to eyewitnesses, a landowner attempted to secretly bury the body without the approval of community chiefs or authorities. The proposed burial site, dangerously close to a water body, sparked fears of possible health hazards.

Residents also suspect the strange move could be linked to ritual practices, fueling further tension in the area.

Speaking to Angel News reporter Bismark Mensah, residents confirmed that the community already has an approved cemetery and vowed never to allow any unauthorized burial. They further revealed that they are keeping vigil at the site to prevent a secret interment in the dead of night.
