Fight Against Illegal Substance A collective Responsibility-Prestea Himan Assembly member (Nana Abroso) to Ghanaians:

Hon. Dr. Alex Yaw Baako, also known as Nana Abroso, the Assembly member for Prestea Himan electoral area, has called on stakeholders, particularly media practitioners, to join the fight against substance abuse, specifically targeting tramadol sellers. He emphasized that if Ghanaians fail to take action against the rampant use of illegal substances, the future of generations will be at risk.

Nana Abroso highlighted the severe negative effects of substance abuse and expressed concern that the authorities’ lack of attention to this national issue could have long-term consequences. He urged collective responsibility and action from the general public to address this breeding problem.

Hon. Dr. Alex Yaw Baako (Nana Abroso) made the call to action to fight against substance abuse during a significant event – the dedication of The Church of Pentecost,Bantama Assembly in the Prestea Himan District.

He used the platform to emphasize the importance of collective responsibility in addressing the issue of substance abuse, particularly tramadol, and its potential impact on future generations.

On his part,Pastor Aeron Tetteh Nartey of the Church of Pentecost, Prestea Himan District, commended Hon. Dr. Alex Yaw Baako (Nana Abroso) for his commitment to promoting development and supporting the gospel. He also took the opportunity to advise Christians to live moral lives, emphasizing that their conduct should serve as a deterrent to non-Christians. Pastor Nartey stressed the importance of soul-winning as the core responsibility of Christians, cautioning against using the gospel for personal gain rather than serving a higher purpose.
