FOB’08 KICKS START VICTORY 2024 CAMPAIGN,APPEALS TO VOTE NO 1 FOR BOLD SOLUTION

In less than three months to the December 7 general election, Friends of Bawumia (FoB – 2008) Foundation has intensified its campaign across the country to ensure a convincing one-touch victory for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP)

According to the group, Dr. Bawumia is the surest bet for Ghana’s accelerated development judging from his achievements as Vice-President and his numerous proposed policies and programmes for Ghanaians.

Members of the group have, therefore, urged Ghanaians to go all out in their numbers on December 7 and vote massively for Dr. Bawumia to enable him to win and continue the good foundation laid by the Akufo-Addo administration.

Mr.John Kwame Duodu aka Sir John,Speaking at the regional co-ordinators meeting held at Royal Ann College of Health at Atwima-Manhyia near Abuakwa off the Kumasi-Sunyani road on Monday, 23rd September 2024, they were convinced that Dr. Bawumia and the NPP were the best for the country.

The Chairman of the group, Alhaji Dr. Mahamoud Hamid Assir-Deen, noted that there were many groups supporting the presidential ambition of Dr. Bawumia.

He said FoB-2008 Foundation was the first group to have been formed to support Dr. Bawumia when he started doing active politics.

He indicated that Dr. Bawumia has a trait of helping the less-privileged and supporting several organisations even before he becomes president. “His vision for the nation is great and needs all hands on deck to enable him to win,” he stressed.
Lawyer Charles Owusu Juanah speaking at the meeting.

The Founder and Chairman of FoB-2008 Foundation, on behalf of the executives, heaped praises on Mr. John Kwame Duodu, aka Sir John, NPP
First Vice-Chairman for Atwima Nwabiagya South, who is also the Ashanti Regional TESCON patron, FoB Deputy National Organiser.

Sir John was given a standing ovation for devoting his time and resources for the campaign activities of Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.

On his part, Lawyer Charles Owusu Juanah, stated emphatically that the upcoming general election is not like the other elections that have been held in the country over the years.

According to him, the 2024 general election is critical and crucial, for which reason it needs to be taken seriously by the rank file of the party, especially by FoB members.

He said the need for NPP to focus on grassroot campaigns cannot be underestimated to enable the electorate to know the unprecedented achievements of the NPP government.

Lawyer Juanah said because of the well-being and better future of Ghanaians, they should all redouble their efforts to retain the NPP in power, adding that the NPP had done a lot.

“There’s an impending danger if Ghanaians should make a mistake to vote for John Mahama,” he cautioned
