Hon. Muntaka Mubarak Commissions Eastern Regional NSB Command Office in Koforidua

The Minority Chief Whip and Member of Parliament, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak, has commissioned the Eastern Regional Command Office of the National Signals Bureau (NSB) in Koforidua, marking a major step toward strengthening Ghana’s national security framework.

The newly commissioned facility, equipped with cutting-edge surveillance and intelligence systems, is expected to enhance intelligence gathering, bolster inter-agency collaboration, and support the government’s 24-hour economy policy through improved security operations.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Muntaka emphasized government’s commitment to leveraging modern technology to combat crime and maintain national stability.

“This initiative reflects our dedication to staying ahead of criminal networks through innovation and modernization. Ghana must continue to be a haven of peace and stability,” he stated.

He further assured that under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, government will continue to modernize national security infrastructure to ensure the protection of all citizens.

The establishment of the NSB regional command forms part of broader national efforts to decentralize intelligence operations and strengthen coordination among security agencies.

With this development, residents of the Eastern Region and beyond can expect improved response mechanisms and proactive crime prevention measures.
