    I AM READY TO FULLY FUND RECONSTRUCTION OF ADUM BLUE LIGHT MARKET,IF GIVEN THE APPROVAL-HON BRYAN ACHEAMPONG:


    Hon Bryan Acheampong, Member of Parliament for Abetifi constituency in the Eastern region of Ghana, has pledged to fully fund the reconstruction of the Adum BlueLight section in Kumasi’s Central Business District, which was recently destroyed by fire. He made this announcement during a visit to the market, where he also donated GHS 300,000 to affected traders. Mr Acheampong will consult with the Asantehene, Ashanti Regional Minister, and local authorities to seek approval for the project.

    As a prominent politician and member of the opposition New Patriotic Party(NPP), Acheampong has held various roles, including Minister of Food and Agriculture and Minister of State at the Ministry of Interior. He’s known for his philanthropic efforts or initiatives, such as donated GHC 250,000 to Presbyterian University College and supporting over 100 boreholes construction in his constituency.
    Mr Acheampong also provided farm inputs worth GHC 500,000 to 6,000 farmers in Kwahu East district among others.

     

    The reconstruction project aims to support traders who suffered extensive property damage from the fire on March 21,2025 in Kumasi.

    Acheampong’s few mentioned initiative demonstrates his commitment to public service and improving living conditions for Ghanaians.His reconstruction plan for the Kumasi AdumBlue Light Market aligns with his commitment to supporting local communities and promoting economic development.
