I’M IN A DIFFICULT PERIOD – NPP GENERAL SECRETARY.

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), JUSTIN FRIMPONG KODUA has said he is in a difficult period of his leadership.

This according to him stems from their defeat in the 2024 election as a ruling party.JFK as he is popularly known disclosed he was dealing with a lot due to the electoral outcome.
But amidst his struggles, he looks up to God as he still cannot understand why the NPP lost and are yet to come to terms with it.

Mr. Kodua noted he recognizes and shares in the pain of the party supporters. However, it was about time the party reflect on their defeat and learn lessons that will shape and guide them, leading to the 2028 election.
The NPP government failed in its bid for a third consecutive term in the December 7, 2024, general election.

The then main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) secured a decisive victory, giving former president John Mahama a return to the presidency.
