As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) inches closer to its much-anticipated 2026 presidential primaries, scheduled for 31st January 2025, a dramatic spiritual prediction has injected fresh energy into the political atmosphere.
Prophet Kofi Amponsah, Founder and Leader of the House of Ezra Worldwide Ministry, has boldly declared that outspoken Assin Central MP Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is divinely ordained to become the next President of Ghana.
Speaking during a packed Watch Night Service at his church last Friday, 14th November 2025,Prophet Amponsah,who also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi-based Ezra Communications, operators of EZRA TV and EZRA 94.1 FM,left his congregation astonished with the emphatic proclamation.
According to him, the prophecy carries divine backing and cannot be reversed or challenged.
“I and my God will make you, Kennedy, a president of Ghana, even if all the other prophets gather and go against you,” he declared, sparking loud reactions from worshippers.
The prophecy emerges at a critical moment as the NPP’s internal contest intensifies, with leading contenders stepping up their campaigns to secure the flagbearer slot ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Political observers say the revelation is likely to ignite spirited debate within both political and religious circles, given the timing, the boldness of the prophecy, and the growing tension surrounding the primaries.
