    KOFI ADADE FOUNDATION EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO GOD AND SUPPORTERS OF MARFO ELVIS’S EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY

    The chief executive officer of Kofi Adade Foundation doubles as former assembly member of Kumawu Dadease electoral area, Hon Kofi Adade, on behalf of the family of the brilliant but needy student of Adisadel college, Marfo Elvis has expressed gratitude to the Almighty God and individuals who have contributed financially to his educational journey.

    He recalls that, Marfo Elvis, after securing scholarship package from Kofi Adade foundation to study at Adisadel college, secured 8A1s in the just released WASSEC results but was finding it difficult to get financial support to pursue medicine degree.

    A few weeks after the announcement, some individuals like the member of parliament for Kumawu constituency, Hon Ernest Yaw Anim presented GHC 10,000 scholarship package while Mr Francis Opoku Asare a.k.a Kwame B, also presented GHC 5000 to Marfo Elvis’s educational journey.

    He moreover, expressed gratitude to Kumasi Metro Director of Education, Mr David Oppong whose efforts linked him to Mr Kelvin Kwaku Yeboah to add his support to the journey.

    In conclusion, an old student of Adisadel college,Mr Kabutey from his own will also paid six years school fees and hostel fees for Marfo Elvis which has now secured him the opportunity to pursue the medicine degre at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST,Kumasi.

    He used the opportunity to expressed gratitude to some journalists who have supported the foundation for publications which he thinks has yielded positive response to Marfo Elvis’s educational journey.

    Hon Kofi Adade when speaking to newsmen suggested to various Municipal, Metropolitan and District assemblies to establish special scholarship scheme to support such brilliant but needy students to pursue medicine degree by signing contract with the assembly to offer their services to the people in the district after completing school.
