    Kronum Abuohia residents angry with Suame Municipal Authorities for hindering construction of police station

    Residents of Kronum Abuohia in the Suame Municipal of the Ashanti Region are very furious with the municipal authorities for been a hindrance or blockage to the construction of a police station at the area.

    According to the angry residents, Dr. Kwaku Oteng willingly begun the construction of a storey building police station at Abuohia to curb the menace of indiscriminate robbery attacks.

    ” The foundation of the police station has begun but just recently, the municipal authorities came arround and stopped the workers, seized their working equipment”.

    “Information available to us indicates that the assembly have sold that plot of land to a private developer for a different purpose instead. Why must this happen? They worriedly asked.

    When the residents were speaking with Journalist they boldly said that they will also protest for the construction of the police station and against any other development on the said piece of land.
