Kwabre East MCE Applauds Security Services During Sanitation Day at Aboaso

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwabre East in the Ashanti Region, Honourable Joseph Amankwah Nurudeen, has commended the security services within the municipality for their active participation in a cleanup exercise dubbed “Sanitation Day” held at Aboaso.

The exercise, aimed at promoting environmental cleanliness and public health, brought together personnel from various security agencies, assembly members, and community volunteers.

Hon. Nurudeen expressed his appreciation for the strong collaboration between the municipal assembly and the security services, highlighting their commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. He also announced plans to introduce sanitation guards in the area to help sustain the momentum of cleanliness and ensure compliance with sanitation by-laws.

“This initiative is not a one-time event. We are committed to enforcing sanitation standards in Kwabre East, and the introduction of sanitation guards will help us achieve that,” he said.

The event reflects the ongoing efforts of the Kwabre East Municipal Assembly to involve all sectors of the community in building a healthier, cleaner municipality.
