MTN Ghana has scored a commanding victory at the 2023/2024 IPR Ghana Excellence Awards, walking away with three top titles for its strong communication performance.

The company secured its sixth straight win as PR Organisation of the Year (Telecommunications),a clear sign of its dominance in the industry.

PR Organisation of the Year (Telecom): Rewards MTN’s consistent stakeholder engagement and effective communication.

Best in Crisis & Issues Communications: Recognizes the company’s trusted and transparent handling of sensitive situations.

Best in Corporate Communications: Celebrates MTN’s skilled storytelling and internal and external communication excellence.

Reacting to the wins, Adwoa Wiafe, Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer, said the honours reinforce MTN’s commitment to raising the bar in communication and strengthening bonds with customers, staff, and partners.

Georgina Asare Fiagbenu, Senior Manager for Corporate Communications, added that the awards highlight the passion and professionalism of the team, whose mission is to tell MTN’s story with clarity and purpose.

The awards were presented during the National PR Summit held at the Western Plus Serene Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi, themed “Imagining PR in the Contemporary World.”
