NDC THUGS ATTACK, DISRUPTS ASHANTI REGIONAL COUNCIL OF STATE ELECTIONS:
Reliable source on news desk of this medium www.dailywatchgh.com indicates that,group of thugs suspected to be sponsored by the ruling National Democratic Congress NDC from Obuasi in the Ashanti region have invaded the Ashanti regional coordinating Council,where the council of State elections was taking place destroyed some alleged ballot papers, disrupted the entire election process.
The suspected NDC thugs attacked all personality on sight including media practitioners (Journalists),the officials from the electoral commission,Police(security officers on duty destroyed the ballot boxes,tables,chairs,during the counting process.
About five Journalists from various media house were attacked others are in serious condition responding to medical treatment.
The said victims are as follows, Kwasi Oppong of Angel TV (ABN),PapaDat of Lawson TV,Hon Kofi Adade Of Oyerepa TV/FM,Henry Atta Kotei and Gideon Peprah of Ghanaweb.
In the course of counting the ballot of the first candidate on ballot,Nana Nkansa Boadu Ayeboafo, the thugs from nowhere invaded the center, attacked officials, destroyed everything and halted the counting process where the EC official has counted to 47 in favour of number candidate on ballot.
Based on instructions from their commanders,the Police has arrested no single thug as at now.
All the 86 registered voters voted with no single rejected ballot recorded after sorting.
