Nyinahin Youth Take Charge: Alaastaaba Group Clears Sports Complex Site, DCE Applauds Efforts

Community spirit was on full display this morning at the Nyinahin Sports Complex when the Alaastaaba Youth from Nyinahin Chirayaaso Junction rolled up their sleeves to weed and clean the project site.

The District Chief Executive, who made a stopover on his way to work, praised the young volunteers for living up to their pledge of keeping the grounds in shape despite the project’s incomplete state.

In a show of support, the DCE contributed a token towards their meals and encouraged them to sustain their selfless efforts. He also commended Hon. Kwabena Karikari, Assembly Member for the Nyinahin Junction Electoral Area, for backing the youth in their initiative.

“This act of dedication and service to the community is truly inspiring. I am deeply grateful to the Alaastaaba Youth for their commitment to Nyinahin’s development,” the DCE remarked.

The action of the group has reignited conversations around community ownership and the role of youth in driving development at the grassroots level.
