President, MPs need seven or more years to perform well-Rev Minister suggests:

Ashanti /West regional superintendent of the Assemblies of God,Ghana,Kwadaso District and founder of the Gospel Light Assemby,Tanoso-Kumasi, Reverend Augustine Kofi Bempah has stated that one of the major problems affecting the country negetively is the four year term nod given to our leaders especially, politicians.

He suggested that, four year nod given to the President and Parliamentarians should be extended to seven or more years just to pave way for them to perform better in terms of development.

Time is due that Parliamentarians need to pay full attention and amend that law to help the destiny of the country.

He said, four year nod as president is not enough to drive the nation to a perfect destination.

According to him,a four year term given to them is breeding poor performance of politicians.

Should Parliamentarians put measures to amend the constitution of the land govering the country, the current economic hardship and power sharing will be a thing of the past, he said.

“I have identified that four administration given to our leaders is the genesis of our problem which need immediate attention to overcome them.

Rev Augustine was speaking during his 60th birthday celebration to show appreciation to the Lord for his protection.
