    SAWUAL REGIONAL HOSPITAL WILL START ITS OPERATION BY SEPTEMBER-HEALTH MINISTER ASSURES:

    The health of the people is the wealth of people,Honourable Benard Oko-Boye,the minister of health has assured that,the Second referral hospital in the Ashanti which commenced somewhere 2008 by the former President John Agyekum Kufour,will begin it’s full operational in this year, September 2024.

    One of the major priority of the ruling New Patriotic Party government is to bring quality healthcare delivery to the doorstep of individuals in the region and country at large.

    He made this know today during a three day familiarization visit to inspect some Projects in the region.

    The main purpose for constructing the facility is to help ease pressure on the only regional hospital,Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

    Hon Health minister according to him, the government have shown massive commitment to improve and tackle health relatated challenges since good health is essential for a happy and fulfilling life.

    Explaining reasons why health is important,good health increases lifespan and reduce the risk of premature death.Being healthy enables man to work,study and engage in Activities productively.

    He will also visit ongoing Bekwai hospital project.

    In attendance were,the Ashanti regional director of Ghana health service,Dr Tenkorang among others.
