Shock and Outrage as Newborn Baby Boy Is Abandoned at Kronkromase Cemetery

Residents in disbelief as authorities launch investigation into disturbing early morning discovery

A shocking and heartbreaking incident has stirred emotions within the Atasomanso electoral area following the discovery of an abandoned newborn baby boy at the Kronkromase cemetery in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to eyewitness accounts, residents who arrived at the scene were left in utter disbelief upon finding the helpless infant abandoned under distressing circumstances. Some community members expressed anger and sadness, describing the act as both inhumane and deeply troubling.

The Assembly Member for the Atasomanso electoral area, Hon. Abdul Samid, popularly known as Opele, confirmed the incident and condemned the act in strong terms. He noted that the matter has been officially reported to the Kronkromase Police Station for immediate investigation.

Hon.Opele further appealed to the general public to volunteer any information that could assist the police in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the act. He also urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities within the community.

Meanwhile, authorities are expected to intensify efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the child, as investigations continue to uncover the circumstances surrounding the abandonment.

The incident has once again sparked conversations around child welfare, parental responsibility, and the urgent need for community awareness to prevent such unfortunate occurrences in the future.
