200 continuing students Benefit from the MTN Bright Scholarship Program
The MTN Ghana Foundation has offered 200 scholarships to continuing students at public tertiary institutions throughout the country for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The MTN Bright Scholarship offers tuition, living expenses, a book stipend, and a laptop for the recipients.

Robert Kuzoe, Senior Manager of the MTN Ghana Foundation, made the announcement on Friday, September 20th, 2024, at the Law Faculty of KNUST in Kumasi.

He stated that the Foundation received 1,500 applications, which were subsequently shortlisted to 400 and finally 200 beneficiaries.

Robert Kuzoe went on to say that the main scholarship program of MTN was introduced in 2018 with the goal of easing the financial burdens of disadvantaged students and lowering the percentage of dropouts caused by financial difficulties.

He emphasized that MTN Ghana launched the Bright Scholarship to assist worthy students in order to carry out a pledge made at its 20th anniversary celebration in 2016.

MTN’s dedication to uplifting Ghanaian youth and investing in their future is demonstrated by this project.

By offering financial support, MTN aims to:

Lessen the financial strain on students who are at risk
Lower the rate of school abandonment
    3. Foster academic excellence

He emphasized that since its establishment, the MTN Bright Scholarship has changed lives by enabling students to concentrate on their studies without having to worry about money.
Robert Kuzoe reaffirmed that MTN’s commitment to the advancement of Ghana and its people is demonstrated by its investments in education.

The recipients showered MTN with compliments and urged other businesses to follow suit.
