There Are Signs Of Overwhelming Victory-Alfred Obeng-Boateng Reassures Supporters

    20/10/24

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alfred Obeng-Boateng, has assured his constituents and supporters of a resounding victory in December polls.

The political stalwart asserted at a rally in Sefwi Bekwai. Speaking to the supporters of the elephant fraternity, he indicated that his position is not based on assumption but on science and data. He continued that the NPP government has performed creditably hence the need to retain the party in power. The MP never minced words in explaining the benefits of the free SHS to parents, students, teachers, and school administrators. Several kilometers of roads constructed across the length and breadth of the county, employment of the youth, and an exponential increase in the producer price of cocoa are evidential proof of the government’s commitment and unwavering support for development. Based on the above and others, the MP was optimistic of victory in December.

Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng, however, urged Ghanaians not to vote according to their emotions with the pretext that economic conditions are hard. He reiterated that the economic crunch is a global crisis; hence, it should not be used as the basis to vote against the government. The MP urged his constituents to embark on a vigorous campaign to safeguard Ghana’s developmental agenda.

He further assured that two astroturfs at Bekwai and Bibiani will be ready for commissioning in November. The creation of Sefwi Bekwai – Chirano District was also on course and would materialize in due course.

In his welcome address, Hon Paul Andoh MCE for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, reiterated the government’s commitment to completing all projects in the Municipality to ensure safety, equality, and access to basic facilities. The MCE assured the Constituents of maximum security ahead of the December polls.

Dr. Dominic Eduah, Executive Secretary of GNPC Foundation, added his voice to the call for the protection of Free SHS, Trainees allowance, and completion of Agenda 111 hospital projects. He cautioned the youth not to fall for Mahama’s chicken and hencoup policy. To sustain the policies for the nation, Dr. Eduah emphasized the need to vote for Dr. Bawumia and all NPP Parliamentary candidates, especially Hon Alfred Obeng-Boateng.

Hon Benjamin Armah, Western North Regional Chairman of the NPP urged the electorates to work hard by touching every corner of the constituency. He also pleaded with them to forgive one another and forge ahead for victory in December. Mr. Armah reaffirmed that 2025 will be a year of blessing so Ghanaians should be prepared for an economic boom. On the vain promises of the NDC presidential candidate, the regional chairman emphasized the promises were blatant lies because he could not provide chalk to schools during his tenure.

Other high-profile dignitaries at the function were Col.Rtd Aduhene, Mr. Gabriel Doh, Regional Youth Organizer, Kwabena Amankwah Asiedu, Deputy Youth Organizer, and Mr. Peter Tanya, Acting Chairman.

Others were Ben Ali Seaman, Chairman of Patrons, Williams Ofori Asuming, Chairman of the council of Elders, Janet Oppong Danso, Former Deputy Women’s Organizer and Mr. Gordon Oppong , President of Friends of Approachers.
