Score of youth calling themselves concern youth of Offinsoman in the Offinso Municipality of Ashanti region has declared that, Nana Dwamena Akenten II is the only chief that Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene has appointed for Offinso and he is the only one they know.
In a press conference by the said youth led by one Owusu Ansah at Offinso Municipal , he said, should those who are claiming themselves to be chiefs of Offinso fail to refrain from their actions,it can simply lead to chaox in the community which will affect everyone.
According to him,the actions of self acclaimed chiefs of Offinsoman is gradually breeding violence if the authorities fail to intervene.
The leader of the group called for immediate intervention of Otumfuo Osei Tutu, Asantehene to ensure that peace is prevail in the area.
He also mentioned how this misunderstanding is affecting development in the municipality and calling on authorities to respond to it immediately.
