WONTUMI threatens to sue lands and natural resources minister for defamation:

Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, the chief executive officer (CEO)of Akonta Mining Company Limited, has threatened to sue Minister Armah Kofi Buah over allegations of galamsey and claims the minister is spreading falsehoods about his company. Antwi-Boasiako denies the allegations and asserts that the minister is attempting to tarnish his image. He also alleges that the minister is planning to send excavators to his site and then falsely accuse him, which he claims will be met with legal action.

Chairman Wontumi, aka Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, is determined to take the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources to court over galamsey allegations, which he claims are false and intended to tarnish his company’s image. He asserts that legal action will be taken to protect his reputation.

Chairman Wontumi firmly stated that his company will take the minister to court, emphasizing that the minister cannot damage their reputation without consequences.

The Akonta Mining CEO, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, claims that Minister Armah Kofi Buah is planning to send excavators to his mining site and then falsely accuse him of illegal activities. This allegation suggests that the CEO believes the minister is attempting to frame him.

Chairman Wontumi warned that the minister’s alleged plan to send excavators to his site and blame him would be a deceitful act. He clarified that his company only has two bulldozers on site, which are being used for land reclamation after damage caused by galamsey operators.
