Wontumi TV Morning Show Host Predicts National Leadership Role for Former Ashanti Regional Chairman

Wontumi TV morning show host,Oheneba Nana Asiedu,has expressed strong conviction that former Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),Bernard Antwi Boasiako,popularly known as Chairman Wontumi,will one day rise to become the party’s National Chairman.

According to him,Chairman Wontumi’s years of political service,influence within the party and contribution to the NPP make him a strong candidate for a future national leadership position.

Oheneba Nana Asiedu made the assertion on the Monday,October 5,2026 edition of the Wontumi TV Morning Show in Kumasi,where he spoke confidently about the political future of the former Ashanti Regional Chairman.

“I have a strong conviction that the NPP will reward Chairman Wontumi with the National Chairman position,” he said.

He suggested that Wontumi’s political journey could eventually extend beyond the Ashanti Region,positioning him for a bigger role at the national level of the party.

Chairman Wontumi has been one of the most prominent and influential figures within the NPP,particularly in the Ashanti Region,where he served as Regional Chairman and built a strong political profile among party supporters.
