Building Health and Hope: Atwima-Mim Garages to Get Modern CHPS Compound for Artisans

By Justice Baffour Awuah, Managing Editor, www.dailywatchgh.com | 0246-930931

As part of ongoing efforts to expand healthcare infrastructure in Nwabiagya South, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boama, had the honour of cutting the sod for the construction of a modern CHPS Compound at Atwima-Mim Garages,a bustling hub for hardworking artisans, including auto mechanics, car sprayers, and many others.

Once completed, the facility will serve as a reliable first point of care for artisans and their clients, offering timely medical attention for work-related injuries, general illnesses, and routine health needs. Residents and workers will no longer need to travel long distances for essential healthcare services.

The project also includes residential bungalows for health workers, ensuring that qualified medical staff are available around the clock to provide continuous care. This initiative underscores the municipality’s commitment to building a healthier, safer, and more supportive environment, particularly for those who contribute significantly to the local economy.

With projects like this, Nwabiagya South is laying the foundation for a stronger, healthier, and more resilient community, where every resident can access quality healthcare close to home.
