Laying Foundations for Learning and Health: Bankyease Gets New Classroom Block and Borehole Project

By Justice Baffour Awuah, Managing Editor, www.dailywatchgh.com | 0246-930931

In a bold move to improve education and promote student wellbeing in Nwabiagya South, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boama, today officially cut the sod for the construction of a modern 3-unit classroom block at Bankyease.

The new facility is designed to provide a safe and conducive learning environment for students, featuring a staff common room, a fully equipped library, and a six-seater water closet washroom. This initiative ensures that both teachers and pupils can thrive in a modern, inspiring space that encourages learning and academic excellence.

“Every child in Nwabiagya South deserves the best possible educational facilities,” I said during the ceremony. “This project is part of our ongoing commitment to provide children with the resources, environment, and opportunities they need to succeed.”
In tandem with the classroom block, a mechanized borehole is also being installed to provide clean and safe water for the school and surrounding community.

This development underscores the critical link between a healthy environment and effective learning, allowing students to focus on their studies without worrying about basic necessities like access to clean water.

The Bankyease project is a clear demonstration of the municipality’s vision for a prosperous and progressive Nwabiagya South, where educational advancement goes hand-in-hand with community wellbeing. It represents more than just bricks and mortar,it is an investment in the future of our children, stronger communities, and expanded opportunities for all residents.

Looking ahead, I reaffirm my commitment to work tirelessly to bring more development projects, resources, and hope to the people of Nwabiagya South. Together, we are building not just infrastructure, but a municipality of dreams, where every child can access quality education and every community can enjoy the benefits of growth and progress.
