A 30-year-old man identified as Dumenya has tragically lost his life following a violent confrontation among a group of illegal miners, popularly known as galamsey operators.
The incident occurred at the Segemase Government Forest near Kyebi in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
According to reports, the deceased was allegedly attacked and killed during a dispute over a galamsey pit. His assailants are said to have dumped his body into the mining pit after the fatal assault.
