Choose Vibrant NAPO As Your Running Mate And have our votes-Kumasi Traders to Bawumia

Market women at Kejetia and race course are vigorously pushing for the selection of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate of Dr. Bawumia for the 2024 general election.

They embarked on a float in the early hours of Tuesday, 25th June, 2024 at the race course market and voiced out their request to the National Executive Council of the NPP.

Adorned with t-shirts branded with the picture of Dr. Napo whiles dancing to the tune of drums played by bandsmen, the traders turned the whole place agog with “Napo must come”, “Napo is the man”, “Napo B3ba” and “Napo for Veep” chants.

Addressing the media after the float, a leading executive of Tomatoes Sellers Association, Obaapanin Akoma said that considering the magnitude of impact made by Dr. Napo at the Energy Ministry, Ministry of education and other facets of Ghana’s economy, bypassing him for a different person for the running mate position will be a feeble decision.

She described Napo as the best man for the position, adding that pairing Napo with Bawumia will succeed in addressing challenges faced by traders in Kumasi and beyond.

She expressed optimism that bringing Napo will fast track the completion of the 2nd phase of Kejetia-central market redevelopment.

“Napo is as humble as Bawumia. He should not be sidelined for anybody”.

She added that traders in Kumasi have a strong trust in Napo and for that reason they will feel disappointed if a different person is chosen as the running mate.
