Hon Alfred Obeng-Boateng continued that girl child education matters in building a meaningful and vibrant society. He added that educating the girl child will eliminate child marriage and superstitious beliefs. According to the MP educating females will promote good health through personal hygiene. The girls were finally encouraged to prepare themselves for the various job opportunities. He also expressed appreciation to the President, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo, and Vice President H. E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the implementation of the free SHS policy which has reduced the burden on parents. Ghs5,000.00 was donated by the MP towards the programme.
