DR LAWSON HANDS OVER BRIDGE PROJECT TO OBUASIKROM,OTHER COMMUNITIES:
As part of it’s corperate social responsibility,the chief executive officer of Lawson herbal and beverages limited,Dr Lawson Kyei-Manu has single handedly constructed and handed over bridge Project wealth millions of Ghana cedis to a farming Communities in Atwima Mponua district of Ashanti region.
With quick intervention of a renowned Ghanaian businessman who doubles as a native of aforementioned community,the good people of Obuasikrom are now relieved from bad road network system after decade of struggles.
Speaking on his behalf during official handing over,Public Relations Officer (PRO),Mr Emmanuel Boakye Aggrey said,one of their major priorities as company is to ensure that, individuals in the area get accessible and motorable road network.
Since government alone cannot do it all,Mr Aggrey also used the opportunity to called for the effort of general public to do their part as individuals to support develop towards the nation building.
According to him,governance is a collective effort that need all hands to drive the nation to a perfect destination,he said.
On the other side,the Assembly Member for Obuasikrom electoral,hon Alexander Yeboah mentioned, health facility, Telecommunication network,lack of classrooms block among others as the major challenges affecting them negatively,calling on the authorities to come to rescue them.
The residents of the area expressed profound appreciation to Dr Lawson Kyei-Manu for the project.
In attendance were, traditional Authorities,Politicians ,Residents and Opinion leaders.
